The DBLF Story and Vision
, founded in 2015, is named after one of the most beautiful spots on Whidbey Island, Double Bluff Beach, with views of Puget Sound, the Olympic Peninsula, Seattle, Mt. Rainier and the Cascades. Our goal is to serve only the best beer to the good people of Whidbey Island (and beyond) and to make the island a destination for craft beer lovers! Double Bluff Brewing Company

What are we up to?Feb. 2015. We are currently in the process of identifying a space that fits our vision. The most promising location right now is a right in the heart of downtown Langley, WA. We have high hopes that we will be able to secure this space in the very near future and start building the brewhouse and taproom! Stay tuned!
March 2015. Closing in on the location for the brewery, taproom AND beer garden! The new owners of the building are making some renovations inside and out and the hope is that we'll be able to begin installing the brewhouse etc. at the end of April or early May. Good things come to those that wait patiently.... May 2015. DOUBLE BLUFF BREWING NOW HAS A HOME!!! Yesterday, we signed the lease for the space that in the near future will house the brewery and taproom! It's the space that we've been waiting for since the beginning of the year and we're excited and convinced that the long wait has been worth it. The new owners are still renovating the building and it'll be a few more weeks before we can start setting up the brewery, but it is just a matter of time now (and lots of sweat equity). The space is in the back of the building at 112 Anthes Ave in downtown Langley. It is very small, but has a lot of character and architectural interest, plus the potential for an outdoor beer garden (probably not until next year)! We couldn't have hoped for a better location! June 2015. Renovations at DOUBLE BLUFF BREWING are underway!!! 3 beautiful, shiny, stainless steel 55-gallon conical fermenters have arrived and beckon to be used! Both stainless steel 55-gallon brewpots have also arrived and lots of other stuff is already on order. The bar/beer counter is starting to take shape and we have contracted the installation of a custom steam exhaust/hood system (stainless steel, of course!). I can almost taste the beer...
